Hi

LibreOffice can mangle pptx files on occasion, formatting often can change as can fonts. Also, some organizations I work with require non-proprietary formats. This is especially true of EU organizations including some governments.

I'm happy to convert the file to odp if that is needed and send it to this list for review.

Cheers,

Jeremiah

Hi Jeremiah

Good question!

There has currently been no demand for the slides in formats other than PowerPoint for editing and PDF for distribution. This is likely due to the widespread use of Microsoft Office for current contributors and the ease of opening and exporting to other formats through applications such as LibreOffice if needed.

If there is market demand for slides in other formats and someone volunteers to take charge of conversation and maintenance naturally I would be more than happy to include them in the release cycle.

Regards

Shane

These slides are designed to support the OpenChain Specification Release 1.0 and are a refinement of the original curriculum slides release on the 4th of October. Most notably:

> (2) There are answers to the “Check Your Understanding” questions at the end of each chapter to assist with the creation of internal exams.
